The food/beverage dispenser has a CPU module which is arranged in a housing to monitor or control the operation of the food/beverage dispenser, and a first component module which is arranged in the housing and coupled with the CUP module. The first component module is operated during the initialization of the food/beverage dispenser, the CPU module outputs the component identification signal to the first component module, and the first component module responds to the component identification signal output by the CPU module. After the CPU module receives the response to the component identification signal output, the address is allocated to the first component module, the communication is established thereby between the CPU module and the first component module, and the operation of the food/beverage dispenser is controlled in response to the command received by the first component module from the CPU module.
