To provide a dispensing apparatus for determining whether a gas is leaked from a junction between a nozzle tip and a tip mount without sucking a liquid into the nozzle tip.
In the dispensing apparatus, a control means 13 delivers the gas from a pump 7 while a tip opening of the nozzle tip is immersed in the liquid before the liquid is sucked into the nozzle tip, and controls operation of the pump 7 and a nozzle movement means 15 for implementing a process for pressurizing the nozzle tip within a range in which bubbles do not generate from the tip opening. A leakage determination means 17 determines whether the gas is leaked from the junction between the nozzle tip and the tip mount based on air pressure detected by a pressure sensor 16 for detecting the air pressure within the nozzle tip after the process for pressurizing the nozzle tip.
