Abstract:
PURPOSE: To vary a dispensing operation by moving downward a chip which emits gas from its end, stopping the downward movement as its inner pressure rises, obtaining a mutual action of liquid sample from the inner pressure at the time of stopping and the chip, and controlling to drive it by using the value.
CONSTITUTION: A chip 14 for dissipating gas from a gas supply unit 25 from its end 14b is moved by a chip driving system 23, and its inner pressure is traced by a pressure sensor 27. When the chip 14 is moved down and brought into contact with a liquid level of the sample, the inner pressure in the chip 14 is raised, and a position of the liquid level can be detected by this pressure detection. When the level is detected and the chip 14 enters the liquid about 2-4mm, the system 23 is controlled by a controller 29 based on information from the sensor 27 to stop down moving of the chip 14. The, the gas is supplied from the unit 25, the inner pressure of the chip 14 is detected by the sensor 27, the controller 29 calculates a mutual action between the sample and the chip based on the pressure data, and controls a syringe pump driving system 21 by using the value to accurately dispense it.
