To provide a dispensing container capable of performing an easy and immediate dispensing of stored content.
This dispensing container 1 comprises a bottle 3 storing content material and having a flexible barrel part 31 that can be squeezed, deformed and freely restored, a cap 4 installed at an opening part 30 of the bottle 3 and formed with a flowing-out port 46a communicating with the internal space of the bottle 3, and a valve member 5 for use in opening or closing the flowing-out port 46a, wherein the container is mounted in its headstand attitude with the opening part 30 being faced down, there is provided an operating lever 8 arranged to extend on the side of the barrel part 31 in an upward or downward direction and pivotable along an imaginary vertical plane including a central axis O of the bottle 3, the upper part of the operating lever 8 is provided with a depressing part 81 for depressing the barrel part 31 to squeeze and deform the barrel part 31 by turning the upper part of the operating lever 8 toward the barrel part 31, and the lower part of the operating lever 8 is provided with a pressing-down part 82 for pressing down the valve member 5 in response to the turning operation of the upper part of the operating lever 8 toward the barrel part 31 to release the flowing-out port 46a.
