Abstract:
To obtain a dispersant for cement excellent in water reducing performance and slump retaining performance.
The dispersant comprises a copolymer using an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid or its alkali salt and a polymerizable compound obtained by allowing an isocyanate compound having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond to react with an alcohol, amine or glycidyl compound having an alkylene oxide chain as essential constituent monomers. Preferably an unsaturated sulfonic acid or its salt is also used as an essential constituent monomer.
