Abstract:
To provide a dispersant excellent in dispersibility, flowability and storage stability and capable of manufacturing a dispersion excellent in solvent resistance and heat resistance in a use through a heating process, and a pigment dispersion containing the dispersant.
The dispersant is represented by the general formula (1): Q1-XA-Q2 or the general formula (2): XB-Q3. In the general formula (1) or (2), XA is a divalent group represented by the general formula (3), XB is a monovalent group represented by the general formula (5) and Q1, A2 and Q3 are a monovalent polymer part respectively independently represented by the general formula (7).
