To provide a dispersant for wet type papermaking and a dispersion composition for wet type papermaking, having excellent dispersibility of an inorganic fiber such as a carbon fiber, a glass fiber, a ceramic fiber, etc., and an organic fiber such as a polyester fiber, a polyphenylene sulfide fiber, an aramid fiber, and a fiber sheet produced from the dispersion composition.SOLUTION: The dispersant for wet type papermaking of a fiber comprising at least one kind selected from a group composed of a ceramic fiber and an aramid fiber comprises an alkylbetaine type amphoteric surfactant.SELECTED DRAWING: None
