Title:
DISPERSING METHOD FOR OIL-SOLUBLE PHOTOGRAPHIC ADDITIVE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5588045
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To disperse an oil-soluble photographic additive at high aging stability, by emulsifying the additive into a hydrophilic colloid composition containing a gelatin derivative using as a dispersant, an anionic surfactant and lecithin in combination.

CONSTITUTION: An oil-soluble photographic additive, such as an oil-soluble coupler or an ultraviolet absorber is dissolved in an organic solvent, such as phthalic esters or benzoyl esters to form a solution or converted into a liquid by heat melting. This liquid or solution is emulsion dispersed into a hydrophilic colloid composition containing a gelatin derivative, such as a reaction product between gelatin and an acid anhydride, isocyanate, or a compound having a active halogen atom, using as a dispersant an anionic surfactant, such as saponin or alkyleneoxide derivatives, and lecithin, such as soybean lecithin or yolk lecithin, in combination.
