PURPOSE: To obtain the titled non-aqueous dispersion composition to be applied to structural steel, vessel, etc., and to give a coating film having long-term weather resistance and chemical resistance, by polymerizing a specific monomer in the presence of a fluorine-containing copolymer containing ethylenic unsaturated group and dissolved in an organic solvent.

CONSTITUTION: The objective composition can be produced by polymerizing (A) an ethylenic unsaturated monomer in the presence of (B) a fluorine- containing copolymer containing fluorine atom and α,β-ethylenic unsaturated group in the molecule and dissolved in (C) an organic solvent such as rubber solvent. The monomer A is soluble in the solvent C and the polymer of the monomer is insoluble in the solvent C. The component A is preferably a mixture of a fluorine-containing ethylenic unsaturated monomer and a silicon-containing ethylenic monomer.
