Title:
DISPERSION OF FINELY DIVIDED SOLID PARTICLE IN FLUID
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08302027
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a foam-free solid dispersion which, when used in the production of a flexible foam, can prevent it from cracking by displacing the air present among finely divided solid particles by CO2 before dispersing them in a fluid.

The air present among finely divided solid particles is displaced by carbon dioxide before the particles are dispersed in a fluid. It is desirable that this method is utilized in producing a plastic material by dispersing a finely divided solid substance (e.g. filler) in a flowable plastic material precursor and molding the mixture. The displacement of air by carbon dioxide is performed, for example, by a method comprising introducing carbon dioxide into the bottom of a storage container for a solid substance or a method comprising feeding a solid substance and carbon dioxide into a dispersion tank.
