PURPOSE: To obtain a solid fine particle dispersion useful as a silver halide photosensitive material for process, having excellent storage stability with time by dispersing solid fine particles into an aqueous medium in the presence of a fluorine-containing surfactant and a specific compound.
CONSTITUTION: This dispersion of solid fine particles is obtained by dispersing a compound to release a development inhibitor by oxidation with a coupler, a sensitized coloring matter, a dye, an ultraviolet light absorber, an antioxidant, a developing agent, a development inhibitor or an oxidant of developing main agent in the presence of (A) a fluorine-containing surfactant and (B) one or more compounds selected from compounds of formula I to formula V (R1, R8, R12 and R13 are each H or an alkyl; R2, R3, R6, R7 and R9 to R11 are each H, a halogen or an alkyl or R2 and R3 are mutually bonded to form an aromatic ring or R9 and R10 are mutually bonded to form a double bond; R4 and R5 are each H or an alkyl; R14 is a halogen, an alkyl, etc.; (m) is 1-5) in an aqueous medium by a ball mill into a fine particle state.
