PURPOSE: To increase the degree of freedom for combination of the processors as well as ensure a fail soft system formation, by combining plural numbers of small- size switchboards having the independence to each other along with the single function in order to secure a function of a large-size switchboard as a whole.
CONSTITUTION: The dispersion-type switchboard consists of processors P1, P2... Pn which carry out the signal process and the call process control plus exchange unit S comprising the channel switch and its control part. And the functions of the control and the channel connection are dispersed completely in one unit, and at the same time the sharing data of the system is also dispersed for control. At the same time, channel circuits 51, 52, 53 and others are introduced from outside to processors P1∼Pn, and the mesh-type connection is secured by channel link among units S in order to secure the inter-unit detour when necessary. In addition, processors P1∼Pn are connected to units S via bus 60, and thus the control information is transferred among these units via bus 60.
