Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration in the linearity of a displacement signal to a displacement by the output of a light receiving element by scattered light.
CONSTITUTION: This displacement detector has a driving means 9 for driving a light emitting element 1 in accordance with the signal from the light receiving element 2 and the quantity of the light emitted by a light emitting element 1, a transmission member 3 which is arranged between the light emitting element 1 and the light receiving element 2, introduces the luminous flux projected by the light emitting element 1 to the light receiving element 2 and is provided on a member movable to a base plate and displacement quantity detecting means 4, 5, 10 which detect the displacement quantity of the movable member by the output from the light receiving element 2. The information on the quantity of the light emitted by the light emitting element 1 is used for the control signal for the purpose of obtaining the linearity to the displacement of the displacement signal obtd. from the light receiving means.
