Abstract:
PURPOSE:To keep an electric resistance detected of a conductive type elastomer from rising to a higher value, by electrically connecting an electrode to a conducting elastomer at a position differing from working points of a load with the interval thereof shorter than that between the working points thereof. CONSTITUTION:When a tensile displacement is applied to a conducting rubber 1 with the action of a tension force P, an electric resistance thereof 1 reduces according to the tensile displacement. Therefore, said tension displacement can be detected by checking a change in an electric resistance of the conducting rubber 1 between electrodes 10 and 11. In this case, when the electrodes 10 and 11 are electrically connected to an elongation type conductive rubber 1 at a position differing from working points of a load with the interval thereof shorter than that between the working points of the loads, the electric resistance value can be reduced.
