To provide a display apparatus and a control method thereof which allows intuitive use of content, and thereby further interesting a user to be able to focus on the content.
A display apparatus includes: an image processor which processes an image of content including a series of scenes, in order to display the image; a display which displays an image of the content thereon; a voice input unit which receives a user's voice; and a controller which displays a first scene of the scenes of the content, and displays a second scene corresponding to the scene next to the first scene, out of the scenes of the content, in response to a determination that the user's voice, which has been received while the first scene is displayed, corresponds to the first scene.
