Abstract:
To achieve color display on a display screen, while transmitting a background.
A display apparatus includes a first layer, a second layer and a third layer, all being transparent and including a polymer dispersed liquid crystal. Blue light, green light and red light are incident on the third layer, the second layer and the first layer, respectively. A voltage applied on the polymer dispersed liquid crystal on each layer is independently turned on and off.
