Abstract:
To provide a display device for displaying a plurality of images, for which size reduction is attained.
The display device comprises a light source 11 that emits an illumination light, a hologram element 12 that receives the illumination light and emits a plurality of reproduced light beams, corresponding to a plurality of reproduced images, and a light-shielding element 13 disposed in the optical paths of the plurality of reproduced light beams L1 to L5, to selectively transmit the reproduced light beams L1 to L5, and displays images by the reproduced light that transmits the light-shielding element 13.
