PURPOSE: To provide a display case which can be sufficiently illuminated to the innermost side in a display case body even if the position of an illumination lamp is not lowered.
CONSTITUTION: The light illuminated to the front from an illumination lamp 19 is emitted through a front panel 13, and the light emitted downward is emitted to a commodity displayed in a display case body 10 from between the panel 13 and a front surface wall 14. In this case, the light emitted rearward from the lamp is shielded by the wall 14, but the emitting range A is extended to the rearward by that corresponding to the inclination of the oblique surface 14a of the wall 14, and even if the lamp 19 is not lowered, the innermost side in the body 10 can be sufficiently illuminated.
