Abstract:
To provide a display controller and a display control method with which it is possible to appropriately show a guidance route in a roundabout when showing a guidance route at a roundabout by a virtual image displayed by a head-up display after ensuring as much as possible that a driver is not prevented to confirm a condition ahead of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A display controller 5 for controlling the display of a virtual image by a head-up display 1 is constituted to comprise: a roundabout guidance route acquisition unit 21 for acquiring a roundabout guidance route; and a display control unit 19 which, when showing the roundabout guidance route, displays a virtual guidance image that indicates the traveling direction of a vehicle so as to overlap the real view of a traffic lane on the roundabout guidance route, as well as displays the virtual guidance image at a position off the middle region of a virtual image display region; whereby the virtual guidance image is prevented from being displayed in the middle region of the virtual image display region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
