To provide a display control device that facilitates the discovery of desired information from the inside of a web page.
The display control device includes: a display unit 410; a web display control unit 5223 for enabling the display unit 410 to display the web page; a scroll indication receiving unit 5225 for receiving a scroll indication of the web page; a scroll display control unit 5226 for scrolling the web page at a predetermined standard speed and for the display thereof depending on the scroll indication; a keyword receiving unit 5227 for receiving an input of a search keyword; and an in-page search unit 5224 for searching a point where the search keyword is employed (in-page search processing) from within the web pages. The scroll display control unit 5226 sets the scrolling speed at a browsing speed lower than the standard speed when the in-page search processing is performed, and a point where the search keyword is used is displayed in the display unit 410.
