Abstract:
To intelligibly notify a driver whether or not an engine is driven at high efficiency in a hybrid vehicle.
An ECU executes a program including a step (S100) of calculating a requested driving force F, a step (S102) of calculating a vehicle speed V, a step (S106) of calculating a PWR display amount (A) by a formula of FV + system loss power, a step (S108) of detecting an engine speed NE, a step (S110) of detecting engine torque TE, a step (S112) of calculating the maximum efficiency power of the engine from NE and TE, and a step (S118) of calculating an ECO display amount (B) by subtracting charging/discharging power and auxiliary power from the maximum efficiency power of the engine.
