Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device and a display control method, capable of displaying an effective information for easy viewing, without giving a trouble to a driver.SOLUTION: A display control device includes a rear video acquiring part for acquiring a rear video of a vehicle, an information generating part for generating an auxiliary information which is presented to a driver of the vehicle, a travel state detection part for detecting speed of the vehicle, and a video processing part in which, if a speed is a first threshold value or higher, a first display video in which a specified range at the lower part of the rear video is limited not to be displayed is set, a video in which an auxiliary information is superposed on the specified range of the first display video is generated, the rear video is set as a second display video if the speed is less than a second threshold value, and a video in which an auxiliary information being transmitted at a specified transmissivity is superposed on the specified range of the second display video is generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
