Abstract:
To make it possible to more reliably perform stereoscopic viewing.SOLUTION: A display control unit, when displaying a presentation image represented by a right-eye image and a left-eye image for stereoscopic viewing and presented in a three-dimensional space, by using flat fusion in which the right-eye image and the left-eye image are superimposed and recognized as one image, determines as to whether a condition for causing erroneous flat fusion for the presentation image is satisfied, on the basis of a display form of a plurality of display objects arranged side by side in one direction on the presentation image. The display control unit applies a predetermined effect to display of the presentation image on the basis of a result of the determination. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a stereoscopic display system using a head-mounted display.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
