Abstract:
To provide a display device which can perform opening/closing detection of a housing incorporating a display part with a saved space at a low cost.SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a base part; a housing; a display part; an illuminance sensor; and a first control part. The housing can be opened/closed with respect to the base part. The display part is incorporated in the housing. The illuminance sensor is provided at a position becoming the inner side surface of the housing or the inner side surface of the base part when the housing is closed with respect to the base part. The first control part turns off the display part when an illuminance detected by the illuminance sensor is equal to or less than a threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
