Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high sensitivity, a display device for realizing high sensitivity, and a control method thereof, a program, and a storage medium without increasing noise by driving for display.SOLUTION: A display device includes: display means comprising a touch panel part having a plurality of sensor parts where a plurality of electrodes are crossed and disposed; frame rate variable control means for variably controlling an update period of a video signal displayed in display means; and detection means for driving a plurality of sensor parts in order and generating a detection signal for touch detection. As compared with the case where the update period of the video signal changed by the variable means is short, when the update period is long (S302;YES), a touch detection operation by the detection means is controlled so that the number of times of driving of the sensor parts by the detection means during a blanking period (S304)is increased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
