Abstract:
To provide a display device capable of displaying a video based on acquired video signals in an operation mode compatible with an appropriate version in a predetermined transmission standard.SOLUTION: A display device includes: a display control unit which causes a display unit to display a video based on video signals and confirmation information for confirming whether the video is properly displayed or not, in a first mode compatible with a first version, in a predetermined transmission standard; and a result information acquisition unit which acquires determination result information indicating a result of the determination as to whether the video is properly displayed. The display control unit determines, in accordance with a determination result indicated by the determination result information acquired by the result information acquisition unit, whether to switch the mode to display the video on the display unit from the first mode compatible with the first version to a second mode compatible with a second version which is different from the first version.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
