Abstract:
To allow an image to be displayed in a more favorable aspect when color sequential drive is employed.SOLUTION: A display device comprises: an addition part for adding a dither signal to a digital video signal of each color component, generated based on a plurality of color components different from each other, and inputted in a prescribed order for each of subframes composing a frame; a conversion part for digital-analog converting the digital video signal obtained by adding the dither signal into analog video signal; and a control part for controlling, in the frame, a pattern of the dither signal in accordance with an order in which the digital video signal for each color component is inputted, for each predetermined cycle including the plurality of subframes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
