To provide a display device which comprises display units on a plurality of different sides, and can perform appropriate control according to a position of an operator in one of a plurality of directions facing respective display screens of the display units.
A display device comprises: a first display unit and a second display unit of which display screens are disposed in a front and back positional relation; a detection unit which detects a relative position of an operator to a display screen of the first display unit or the second display unit, detects the display screen of a display unit facing the operator being a front screen between the first display unit and the second display unit, on the basis of the detected relative position, and also detects the display screen of the other display unit is a back screen; and a control unit which controls display of the front display unit and/or the back display unit on the basis of results detected by the detection unit.
