PURPOSE: To perform tuning operaion from a broadcast stationl listened at present to the adjacent broadcast station simply by displaying the electric field intensity of frequency received at present on a display device and simlutaneously displaying the frequency and electric field intensity of the adjacent broadcast station.

CONSTITUTION: Receiving frequency is determined by the local oscillation frequency of a PLL frequency synthesizer part, the local oscillation frequency is determined by a set value of a programmable counter 53 and the counter 53 is set up by an output (a) of a microcomputer 8. A received signal is converted into intermidate frequency by a mixer 2 and a part of a carrier is detected by an electric field intensity detector 6. The detected value is A/D converted 13 and stored in a RAM 15. The output of the RAM 15 is displayed on an electric field intensity display device 17 through a decoder and a driver 16. A tuning detector 14 obtains a tuning detection signal from an output of an FM detector 4 and an output of the detector 6 and a driver 10 drives the sheared frequency between a current receiving frequency display device 12 and the display device 17 from outputs b, c of the computer 8. Consequently, tuning operation can be easily attained.
