To provide a display device wherein brightness of respective light-emitting faces of both light guide plates is made equal, and to provide a guide light.
The display device is equipped with the light guide plates 1A, 1B which have light-incident faces 1b at the side face in the direction orthogonal to the thickness direction and light-emitting faces 1a at one face in the thickness direction, and which are arranged in a form overlapped in the thickness direction in a state that the light-emitting face 1a faces the outside, the device main body 2 interposed between the light guide plates 1A, 1B, and a display plate 3 arranged in a form opposing to the respective light-emitting faces 1a of the light guide plates 1A, 1B. In the device main body 2, a plurality of lighting devices 4 which respectively light on a first light source 5 for the light guide plate 1A and a second light source 6 for the light guide plate 1B are housed. As for the device main body 2, the first light source 5 and the second light source 6 to be lighted on by the same lighting device 4 are retained in a form that respective electrodes are mutually adjacent, and at the output end of the high potential side of the lighting devices 4, one electrodes of the first light source 5 and the second light source 6 are respectively connected.
