To provide an inexpensive display device and a guiding light device whose visibility in the oblique direction is improved, in which replacement work of a light source can be easily performed, and whose display plate has uniform brightness.

The display device 101 is equipped with a main body 10 for housing a lighting device, a display plate 20 having a bent surface or a polygonal surface provided with a pattern to be displayed, and a light source 30 irradiating light on the recessed face side of the display plate 20. The display device 401 is provided with a light guide plate 50 which emits light made incident from the light source 34 on the recessed face side of the display plate 20. A pair of display plates 20 are arranged in a substantially cylindrical shape, or the display plate 20 is integrally formed in a substantially cylindrical shape. Further, by displaying a symbol used for the guiding light, the display device serves as a guiding light device.
