The display device includes: a first display means 101 and a second display means 102, which display an image based on an image signal outputted from an image sensor 109; a condition detecting means 103 for detecting a first condition and a second condition; an operating means 104; and a control means 111. The control means controls so as to display the image on the first display means 101 when the condition detecting means 103 has detected a first condition; controls so as to display the image on the second display means 102 when the condition detecting means 103 has detected a second condition; changes the display so as not to display the image on the display means which displays the image when the operating means 104 is operated; and continuously displays the image on the display means which is switched when the operating means 104 has been operated, until the operating means 104 is operated again or the condition detected by the condition detecting means 103 is changed two times.
