Abstract:

PURPOSE: To receive object light which is not shielded by turning off display in a finder optical path corresponding to the starting of photometry.

CONSTITUTION: An eyepiece detecting part 8 discriminates whether a photographer looks through a finder or not. When the photographer looks through the finder, a display part 2 in a screen is turned on, and a body display part 3 is turned off. When the photographer does not look through the finder, the display part 2 in the image screen is turned off, and the body display part 3 is turned on. Next, whether power zoom switch Szt or Szw is inputted or not is discriminated, and when it is inputted, power zoom is actuated, and when it is not inputted, nothing is executed, and whether override switch Sup or Sdn is inputted or not is decided. When it is inputted, an override is actuated, and when it is not inputted, nothing is executed, and next action is performed. And whether a photometric area changeover switch Ssd is turned on or not is discriminated.
