Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hide a pop-up image only without making a viewer conscious when the pop-up image is included in an image to be displayed.SOLUTION: A display device includes: a signal receiver 21 for dividing an image according to a received video signal into an image of a pre-stored specified area and a total image other than that for each frame; a pop-up image determination unit 23 for determining whether a pop-up image is included in the images of the specified area or not for each frame serially to store only images in which no pop-up image is included in a displayable video buffer 24; a video synthesis unit 25 for synthesizing the total image with an image lastly stored in the displayable video buffer 24 for each frame of the total image; and a video display unit 26 for displaying the synthesized image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
