A display device includes: a displaying face for displaying images; a position information acquisition means which acquires position information representing positions designated to the displaying face; a first display control means which displays first images representing the locus of the designated positions on the displaying face on the basis of the acquired position information which represents the positions concerned; a prediction means which predicts positions S(1) to S(4) which are designated to the displaying face in succession to first positions P(1) to P(4) when the first positions concerned are successively designated to the displaying face; and a second display control means which makes second images displayed on the positions predicted by the prediction means, and deletes an image of a display area which is different from the display areas of the first images which are displayed in accordance with the second positions designated in succession to the first positions among the display areas of the second images.
