Abstract:
To provide a display device and a display system that are useful in the event of an earthquake.
The display device includes: a display section; a vibration detection section for detecting a vibration; a determination section for determining whether or not there is a vibration on the basis of a detection signal of the vibration detection section; a power supply section for supplying power to the display section; and a control section for controlling the power supply section to stop the power supply to the display section when the determination section determines that there is a vibration.
