Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle capable of providing both good appearance and visibility.SOLUTION: A display device for vehicle includes image display means 20 for displaying an image, and control means which makes the image display means 20 display character images 22, 23 and a background image 21 representing vehicle information. The control means makes the display means 20 display the background image 21 which contains a main region in white or black and an end region in chromatic color in which a saturation becomes lower stepwise from at least one end at upper, lower, left, right parts of an image display surface, and further, makes the display means 20 display the character images 22, 23 so as to overlap with the main region and the end region. Thus, even under outside light, both good appearance and visibility are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
