Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for an automobile which allows multicolor display, and can display an alarm which is easily seen even under the sunshine.SOLUTION: A display device 10 for a vehicle comprises a housing 39, a liquid crystal display panel 22 which is accommodated in the housing 39, and a circuit board 13. The circuit board 13 comprises a first light emitting element 33 which can emit light in multiple colors, a second light emitting element 34 which emits light in a single color; a third light emitting element 35 which emits light in a single color; and a fourth light emitting element 36 which emits light in a single color. The liquid crystal display panel 22 comprises a semi-permeable semi-reflection film 28. The housing 39 has an alarm display part 50 which is permeation-illuminated by the third light emitting element 35.EFFECT: Since the first light emitting element 33 can emit light in multiple colors, the multi-color display becomes possible. Since the third light emitting element 35 directly illuminates the alarm display part 50, the alarm display part 50 is displayed at high luminosity, and is easily seen under the sunshine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
