Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle for enabling a driver to easily recognize caution information.SOLUTION: When a line of sight is located outside a display information visible area F3 in switching the display of a display area T from driving information to caution information, a HUD device 1 displays guide information in the display area T, and when the line of sight is located within the display information visible area F3 with the guide information displayed in the display area T, the HUD device displays the caution information in the display area T. Thus, the HUD device 1 guides the line of sight of a driver P from the outside of the display information visible area F3 to the display area T within the display information visible area F3 in making a switch from the driving information to the caution information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
