Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a display device for a vehicle capable of displaying the distance not by the geometrical design of the light path but by the simple design, and capable of miniaturizing the whole device.
CONSTITUTION: A display device consists of a display part 2 which is arranged to the lower part of a windshield 108 and displays two same patterns P1, P1 by the positional deviation in the right-to-left direction along the vehicle lateral direction, and a prism 3 which is arranged between the windshield 108 and the display part 2, and focuses the virtual image on the windshield 108 so that each of two same patterns P1, P1 may be independently and respectively seen by the right and left eyes E2, E1 of an occupant by a light source 4 built in the display part 2.
