PURPOSE: To provide a display device for a vehicle capable of freely changing the size of a virtual image by a user.

CONSTITUTION: A display image of a display 4 is displayed as a virtual image on a meter main body 2 by arranging a half mirror 3 inclined in the front of the meter main body 2 installed on an instrument panel l1 and setting the display 4 above the meter main body 2. A spherical concave mirror is provided in the front of the display 4 so that the display image from the display 4 is reflected toward the half mirror 3, and a mobile mechanism 10 to move position of the display 4 within a focal point of the spherical concave mirror 5 along an optical axis of the display 4 is provided.
