Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with abnormality detection function wherein correct charge dealing can be continued, by detecting abnormality appropriately, for abnormality detection signal to be outputted, in addition, for previous effective measurement data to be displayed.
SOLUTION: A calculation part 1 runs a program, calculates measurement data, and supplies the measurement data to a display driver 3. At the display driver 3, the measurement data from the calculation part 1 is, through a controller 31, temporarily accumulated in an input data latch part 33, and then supplied to a data inspection part 35. The data inspection part 35 checks validity of measurement data supplied from the input data latch part 33. When, based on the check, the measurement data is decided to be correct, the measurement data accumulated in the input data latch part 33 is transferred to a data register 37, converted into segment data at a segment data conversion part 39, and supplied to a display device 5 for display.
