Abstract:
To provide a liquid crystal display device of which the whole size is made slim.
A driver IC 35 which can control a first TFT and a second TFT respectively is disposed on a second liquid crystal panel 3 which is electrically and mechanically connected to a first liquid crystal panel 2 by an FPC and has an external form smaller than that of the first liquid crystal panel 2. A space produced by the difference in external form between the first liquid crystal panel 2 and the second liquid crystal panel 3 is effectively utilized as an arrangement space of various kinds of lines L3, L4 or the like for the driver IC 35, and thereby the whole size of the display device can be made slim.
