To provide a multi-screen display all in a full screen.
A multi-screen display device comprises: a tuner part 111 capable of receiving a plurality of input signals; a control part 112 to change a combination of how received contents are displayed according to a setting; a control reception part 114 to increase or decrease the received contents for the control part 112; a display part 113 to display image signals sent from the control part 112; and an infrared transmission unit 115 to send synchronization signals to a liquid crystal shutter 131 in synchronization with the display part 113. The multi-screen display device enables a viewing of image contents in a full screen by displaying images displayed with 113 in time division which is sent from a signal source through 121, 122, and 123, and transmitting only arbitrary images with 115.
