Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that includes a lighting system using an LED and prevent a deterioration of the LED to extend the life of the display device.SOLUTION: There is provided a display device 10 including a lighting system 20 therein, where the lighting system 20 includes an LED luminous body, and a protective element 30 is attached to the lighting system 20 at a connection part with a power source. The protective element 30 includes a temperature protector part 32c that lights off the lighting system 20 when the temperature inside the display device 10 has increased to a predetermined temperature or more, a load abnormality protector part 32b that cuts the connection with the power source when an abnormal current flows to the lighting system 20, and an arrester part 32a that discharges to the outside when an abnormal voltage flows to the lighting system.
