Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device excellent in color development properties and visibility.SOLUTION: A display device includes: a pixel space 3 which has a surface partitioned by a transparent substrate and is divided into a plurality of parts in a direction parallel with or a direction perpendicular to the surface of the transparent substrate; a liquid storage space 4 which communicates with the pixel space 3 and stores colored liquid 6 being colored; and pressure generation means 5 for applying pressure fluctuation in the liquid storage space 4. The colored liquid stored in the liquid storage space 4 is made to flow into the pixel space 3 by drive of the pressure generation means 5, and the colored liquid made to flow into the pixel space 3 can be viewed from the outside through the transparent substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
