Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when a pixel size is made small, the area ratio of a contact hole part for connecting a pixel electrode to a drain electrode of a thin film transistor to a pixel area is made high, causing reduction in an opening ratio.SOLUTION: A display device includes: first and second drain electrodes; an organic insulation film; an inorganic insulation film formed on the organic insulation film; and first and second pixel electrodes formed on the inorganic insulation film. The organic insulation film includes an organic insulation film opening over the first drain electrode and the second drain electrode. The inorganic insulation film covering the organic insulation film opening includes first and second inorganic insulation film openings. The first pixel electrode is connected via the first inorganic insulation film opening to the first drain electrode. The second pixel electrode is connected via the second inorganic insulation film opening to the second drain electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
