Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having a stereoscopic effect and a high designability.SOLUTION: A pointer drive unit rotates a pointer 10. A display board includes an index portion 41 indicated by the pointer 10. The display board includes an annular projection 40e having an outer inclination portion 40h and an inner inclination portion 40f. The display board has, on the outer inclination portion 40h, a shadow pattern whose brightness gradually varies in a circumferential direction. The display board has, on the inner inclination portion 40f, a shadow pattern whose brightness gradually varies in a circumferential direction opposite to that of the shadow pattern on the outer inclination portion 40h. The shadow patterns are displayed using many fundamental color dots. The fundamental color dots include dots of C (cyan), M (magenta), and Y (yellow).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
