Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve appearance of a display device.SOLUTION: A display device for a vehicle 10 comprises a first meter 31, a second meter 32 and an intermediate display part 33, capable of displaying a straddle indication plate 71 and a deviation indication plate as indication plates of the meters 31 and 32. In the straddle indication plate 71, an outer indication 41a and an image indication 75 are displayed. In the deviation indication plate, an inner indication 41b is displayed. The display device for a vehicle 10 has a pointer boss 42 for pointing the indications 41a, 41b and 75. The pointer boss 42 includes a first light emission part and a second light emission part and when light is emitted from both of the light emission parts, the light hits the straddle indication plate 71 and thereby a light longer needle part 61 is displayed. When light is emitted only from the second light emission part, the light hits the deviation indication plate and thereby a light shorter needle part is displayed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
