Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display that can perform display output with a higher resolution feel, or to provide a display that has variety of combinations of sub pixels reproducing the brightness of white light.SOLUTION: The present display is a self-luminous type display having a plurality of pixels 48 arranged along a matrix direction. One pixel 48 includes a combination of sub pixels consisting of two sub pixels that correspond to two colors having a relationship of complementary colors and arranged to be adjacent along either one of a row direction or a column direction. Two or more combinations of the sub pixels are present for one sub pixels, the combinations reproducing the brightness of white light by combining outputs from the adjacent sub pixels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
